Despite corrupt U.N. boss Kofi Annan's worsening scandals, the likes of wacko former presidential wannabe Dennis Kucinich are leaping to his defense. Rep. Kucinich, D-Ohio, fired off a letter today to Secretary of State Colin Powell claiming that criticism of Annan was "disgraceful and premature."
Believe it or not, here is an actual line from Kucinich's letter, as revealed by the Associated Press: "There has been no hint of impropriety on the part of the secretary-general, who on numerous occasions has proven his honesty and integrity."
Eighteen other Democrats and Rep. Bernie Sanders, a self-described socialist from Vermont, also signed it.
On Monday, Democrat Reps. John Conyers of Michigan and Donald Payne of New Jersey sent a letter to House colleagues that tried to defend Annan.
"To decide that the secretary-general must resign is an absolutely premature conclusion to draw when there is no evidence or even allegations that the secretary-general profited from the oil-for-food program," they claimed.
How curious that those who are so eager to blame America first are also so eager to defend globalist corruption to the bitter end.
