Severe thunderstorms across western and central Texas plus southern Oklahoma could produce large hail, damaging wind gusts and a few tornadoes. Precipitation will shift eastward into the lower-Mississippi Valley and severe thunderstorms could pop from eastern Texas to southern Mississippi on Saturday. By Sunday, look for rain and thunderstorms across Tennessee, Alabama and the Florida Panhandle, while parts of northern Georgia will see showers and chilly temperatures.
