A Washington man and an accomplice remain in jail charged with plotting to kidnap the man’s sister. Khalil Nassar, 21 and Antonio Cortez, 24, are being held on bonds of $250,000 and $150,000 respectively. Police charge that Nassar planned to abduct his sister because she had married a Christian and was estranged from her family and the Muslim religion. Police became suspicious Nassar and Cortez were found waiting in a van a block away from his sister’s house.
