Voters in the state of Alabama are filing a challenge to the removal of former Chief Justice Roy Moore.  The suit claims that the removal of Moore, an elected official, by the Alabama Court of the Judiciary, which is an un-elected body, violates the plaintiff's rights under the fourteenth amendment.  A spokesman for the group, the Reverend Patrick Mahoney says, "The Court of the Judiciary h as overturned an election and crushed the democratic process through it's actions."
