The war between John Kerry and his former comrades is heating up. Lawyers for the Kerry Campaign have notified potential media outlets not to run a commercial by the group Swift Boats Veterans for Truth claiming the ads are Inaccurate. However the Swifty’s are standing by their charges that Kerry lied about the circumstances surrounding his war record. And now the Boston Globe is being challenged by one of the Swiftboat Vets for its claim that he had changed his story regarding Kerry’s service. Captain George Elliott has reaffirmed statements he made in both the book put out by the group and the controversial 60 second commercial which may end up giving the Kerry campaign a problem of credibility they may not be able to overcome.
