ST. LOUIS A company that made D-V-D copying software is calling it quits. The company called 3-2-1 Studios has posted a message on its Web site saying it's ceasing business operations.
The St. Louis-area company had been under fire from movie studios and game producers for software that could copy D-V-D's.
The company warned in June that it might seek federal bankruptcy protection to free itself of copyright-related lawsuits.
