The Westminster school district in California has rejected the idea that so-called trans-gendered students need special rights and protections and have decided not to implement the state’s guidelines dealing with the issue. Most on the local board believed the state-supplied materials promoted what most believe is a dangerous and unhealthy lifestyle, so much so that they were willing to give up state funding for their district.
