Gruesome testimony in partial birth trial By: John Russell | Source: IRN NEWS April 1, 2004 7:57PM EST
Riveting testimony in a district court in Manhattan today revealed the horrific nature of partial birth abortion. The judge in the case asked one of three abortionists challenging the new law against that practice whether or not the pre-born child felt any pain during an abortion. After some evasion the witness admitted that he did not know. Judge Richard C. Casey then asked if a woman was told before the abortion that the arms and legs of the child would be torn off, to which Dr. Timothy Johnson replied, “We tell her the baby… the fetus, is dismembered as part of the procedure, yes.” The judge then asked if the women were told that child’s brain would be sucked from its skull. The abortionist replied that they probably would use a term like, ” reducing the contents of the skull.” - Catholic Group Is Told to Pay for Birth Control - Republicans Want Clarke Testimony Declassified - Al Jazeera Touts Clarke Testimony - Clarke allowed to avoid testimony in 1999 - MD: Partial Birth Abortion NEVER Needed to Protect Mom
