(CNSNews.com) - RNC Chairman Ed Gillespie said Democrat John Kerry was way out of line when he accused the Bush administration of delaying the creation of the Homeland Security Department. Look at Sen. Kerry's own voting record, said Gillespie: "Senator Kerry voted six times to delay the implementation of the Department of Homeland Security because of pressure from public employee unions," he said in a press release. "John Kerry and his Democrat colleagues in the United States Senate stalled the implementation of the Department of Homeland Security for a total of 112 days." He called Kerry "factually challenged": "Whether it's talking about meeting with foreign leaders or forgetting his own voting record, John Kerry's speeches continue to raise more questions than they answer."
