Location of suicide bomb attack

Two soliders were wounded, one seriously, in a suicide bombing at an Army base near Tulkarm, news sources reported. A Palestinian also was reported injured.

One soldier received serious injuries and was taken to Beilinson Hospital in Petah Tikva. The other's injuries were reported as light.

The suicide bomber apparently was at an office at which Palestinians apply for work permits inside Israel. The office was protected, news sources reported.

The suicide bombing came after a high security alert had been called this morning for the Hadera and Wadi Ara regions, and all cars were being checked.

Early reports said the bomber might have been a woman, but that has since been discounted.
