J.P. Morgan to Acquire Bank One for $60 Bln, Journal Says

Jan. 14 (Bloomberg) -- J.P. Morgan Chase & Co. agreed to buy Bank One Corp. for about $60 billion, the Wall Street Journal reported, citing an unidentified person familiar with the situation.

``We have no comment,'' Bank One spokesman Thomas Kelly told Bloomberg News. J.P. Morgan spokesman Joe Evangelisti declined to comment to Bloomberg.
